About Us

The Simple Little Things was created during one of the hardest seasons of my life.

When I discovered that my daughter had been quietly battling anxiety and depression, my world stopped. Overnight, I was thrown into the unfamiliar and overwhelming world of mental health — a place filled with fear, love, resilience, and hope, all intertwined.

As I watched my daughter begin her path of healing, I started noticing symbols everywhere that seemed to gently speak the language of mental health. Butterflies. Flowers. Bees. Semicolons. Symbols of growth, resilience, and hope.

I’ve seen firsthand how hard it can be to stay strong — to hold onto inner resilience and to remember to celebrate even the smallest steps forward. That’s why I wanted to create something women could wear: a tangible reminder that strength already lives within them, and that every day offers something worth honoring. Just as recovery groups offer medallions to mark milestones, I wanted to create something beautiful for mental health journeys — something that says, you’ve come this far, and your story isn’t over yet.

The name The Simple Little Things carries a deeply personal meaning. It was inspired by my daughter — her initials quietly woven into the brand as a reminder that healing often begins with the smallest moments, the simplest victories, and the little things that keep us going.

Each piece in our collection — whether carefully curated or originally designed — is more than jewelry. Butterflies symbolize transformation. Flowers represent unique strengths. Semicolons whisper “my story isn’t over yet.” Bees remind us of resilience and the sweetness that can follow struggle. Together, these designs tell a story of hope, healing, and perseverance.

At The Simple Little Things, our jewelry is meant to be a hidden-in-plain-sight treasure — a personal, private reminder you can carry every day, and a subtle signal others who understand will recognize too.

This isn’t just jewelry.

It’s strength you can wear.

The Simple Little Things.
